Hypnotherapy via ZOOM means that we can work together from the comfort of your own home; your town or country does not matter, as long as you have a reasonably fast internet connection and a computer with a webcam and microphone, then we can work together. You can even use your phone!
Please allow up to two hours for the call as the session is open-ended so we can seek to solve the root cause of your issue on the day. It is also recommended that you do not have any appointments straight after the session as you may feel sleepy or a little light-headed until the effects of trance finally recede. Time to have a little nap straight after would be ideal.
Please ensure that you have a quiet, private space to take the ZOOM call, without distractions and that the cat, the dog and children do not need you and will not wander in during the session. You must be in a quiet place for the whole session where no one will disturb you.
It's best not to eat a large meal or drink strong coffee or alcohol before your session. We also advise you to wear comfortable clothing.
Please choose a supportive chair, with arm rests and that your feet can be placed flat on the floor. As some clients become emotional talking about their problem, it would be advisable to have a box of tissues and a glass of water available. A toilet break before the session is also recommended for comfort.
Please make sure that your internet connection is online, you have tested your ZOOM app and that your microphone and camera are working. We will need to see your face and upper body clearly so please position your camera accordingly and avoid ‘green screen’ backgrounds if possible.
If we do happen to lose connection during the call, there is no need to worry as you will naturally come out of your trance and we can resume the session when the connection is re-established.
Everyone experiences hypnosis in their own way so during the session you may feel mentally and physically calm, with a relaxed awareness of everything that's happening or you may feel a more focused sense of awareness and alertness, this all depends on the individual.
Clients sometimes say they feel like their minds are drifting but all the time they’re in total control & they really gain a new relationship with their unconscious mind & how they can feel different in the world.
You should feel relaxed and positive after your session and start to become aware of an increasing clarity and insight around your problem, with growing confidence and rejuvenation in the days, nights and weeks to come.
We will need a clarity session, via ZOOM before we schedule your hypnotherapy session, to make sure we are a good fit and if we agree to work with each other, I can send you booking and payment links.
You will have to complete a Client Intake Form and agree to, and sign, a Hypnotherapy Agreement before your session is confirmed.
The price of the transformation session is discussed during the clarity call and you will be sent a booking link and can pay via any debit or credit card.

This is because trance is a normal part of life, and we often enter and exit hypnotic states without realizing it. It is possible for someone to be in hypnosis without feeling relaxed or having their eyes closed, as hypnosis, particularly conversational hypnosis, is a normal part of daily activities such as driving, daydreaming, and watching television.

When we watch a movie or series, our attention is fully absorbed by the characters and plot, disregarding our surroundings. This is an example of hypnosis, where our awareness is narrowed and focused on the story.
However, it is important to note that hypnosis is not mind control and a hypnotist can only influence, not control, the listener. In neuro-linguistic programming, this is known as "downtime." Even daydreaming can be considered a form of trance.
Conversational hypnosis is related to the way we respond to a good story.
